A color rendering of the project <br />and site plan are included for informational purposes. <br />The subject parcel is further identified utilizing Orange County Parcel <br />Identification Number (PIN) 9835 -74 -8573, located within the Cheeks Township of <br />Orange County, and is zoned Rural Residential (R -1) Upper Eno Protected Watershed <br />Overlay District. Please refer to the attached vicinity map for additional site information <br />and location details. <br />The proposed project is a village style development with approximately 34 <br />dwelling units and involve the preservation of approximately 67 acres of the parcel <br />(approximately 60 %) as vegetative open space and farm area (i.e. pasture and crop <br />production). Residences are proposed to range from 1 to 3 bedroom units clustered <br />around a pedestrian trail in the middle of the property surrounded by identified open <br />space /farm areas. A common house, a shared facility approximately 3,000 sq. ft. in <br />area, is proposed to be developed as a place where residents and their guests can <br />meet for community meals, entertainment, and mail pick -up. <br />In accordance with Section 2.7 of the Orange County Unified Development <br />Ordinance (UDO), the County is required to notify property owners within 500 feet of the <br />request that an application has been filed and that a Public Hearing will be conducted <br />as part of the review process.
