Harvey AICP, CFO, CZO
Current Planning Supervisor - Planner III
Orange County Planning Department
From:
Alan Clapp
Environmental Health Director
Orange County Health Department
RE: Hart's Mill project - Frazier Road
PIN: 9835945500
Michael,
Environmental Health met with Katy Ansardi and Vic D' Amato on July 22, 2014
regarding the septic systems for the project. A variety of options for septic disposal
were discussed including NC DENR DWQ systems, Orange County Health Department
permitted individual systems, Orange County Health Department permitted cluster
systems and Orange County Health Department and NC DHHS permitted large system.
A specific system to serve the project was not submitted at that time. As you know the
system options are quite dependent on the development type allowed by the Planning
Department. Once it is decided if offsite options or systems in the open space are
allowed then the developer can apply to Environmental Health for Improvement
Permits.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Alan
919 245 2360 131 West Margaret Lane, Suite 100 ), Hillsborough, NC 27278 orangecountync,gov
