He said <br />13 <br />the filing is now slowing down and bills will be put into committees. He said a lot of potentially <br />14 <br />damaging bills have been filedthat could affect Orange County,and he will keep the BOCC <br />15 <br />updated on ones that affect Orange County. <br />16 <br />Chair McKee asked John Roberts isolate any potentially damaging bills and keep the <br />17 <br />BOCC informed as to their progress. <br />18 <br />19 <br />11.Appointments <br />20 <br />21 <br />a.Arts Commission –Appointments <br />22 <br />The Board consideredmaking appointments to the Arts Commission. <br />23 <br />24 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Rich,seconded by Commissioner Pelissier to <br />25 <br />appoint the following to the Arts Commission: <br />26 <br />27 <br />Appointment to a second full term (position #1) At-Large for Ms. Katherine Dickson <br />28 <br />expiring 03/31/2018. <br />29 <br />Appointment to a first full term (position #2) At-Large for Mr. Tim Hoke expiring <br />30 <br />03/31/2018. <br />31 <br />Appointment to a first full term (position #8) At-Large for Ms. Bronwyn Merritt expiring <br />32 <br />03/31/2018. <br />33 <br />Appointment to a first full term (position #12) At-Largefor Mr. Ian Bowater expiring <br />34 <br />03/31/2018. <br />35 <br />Appointment to a first full term (position #15) At-Large for Ms. Kim Roberts expiring <br />36 <br />03/31/2018. <br />37 <br />38 <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />39 <br />40 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Price to appoint Jilan Li to position # 13 –At <br />41 <br />Large.
