12 <br />1 <br />a.Comprehensive Plan and Unified Development Ordinance(UDO)Text <br />2 <br />Amendments and Zoning Atlas Amendments to Establish Two New Zoning <br />3 <br />Overlay Districts in the Efland Area (No Additional Comments Accepted) <br />4 <br />The Board receivedthe Planning Board recommendation, closedthe public hearing, and <br />5 <br />considereda decision on Planning Director initiated amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, <br />6 <br />Unified Development Ordinance, and Zoning Atlas to establish two new zoning overlay districts <br />7 <br />in the Efland area. <br />8 <br />The primary purpose of the overlay districts is to provide for a more villageand urban <br />9 <br />style of development in an area of the county served, or intended to be served, by public water <br />10 <br />and sewer systems. <br />11 <br />Chair McKee said two people signed up to speak about this item. He asked John <br />12 <br />Roberts for clarification as the abstract indicatedfurther comment was not to be accepted. <br />13 <br />John Roberts said the UDO is written so that no more oral comments are allowed at this <br />14 <br />stage of the public hearing.
