6: Equipment and Vehicles Capital Project Ordinance <br />At its May 1, 2008 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners approved the immediate <br />replacement of three Animal Control vehicles currently not in compliance with <br />Transportation Standards outlined in the NC Animal Welfare Act. The replacement cost <br />for these vehicles is approximately $100,000. The monies will be borrowed from two <br />existing County capital projects -Building Entry Access ($75,000) and Emergency <br />Reserve Fund ($25,000) - to fund the replacement trucks. After this transaction, there will <br />be no funds remaining in the Building Entry Access Project and $50,000 remaining in the <br />Emergency Reserve Fund Capital Project.
