Equipment and Vehicles Project <br />Capital Project Ordinance <br />ATTACHMENT 5 <br />~~ <br />Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section <br />13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following capital project is <br />hereby adopted. <br />Section 1.The project authorized provides funds to purchase County-owned vehicles and <br />major equipment. The project will be financed with proceeds from the County's <br />portion of the one half-cent sales taxes, dedicated property taxes, proceeds from <br />private placement financing arrangements, and North Carolina Department of <br />Transportation funds. <br />Section 2.The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project within the <br />budget contained herein. <br />Section 3.The following revenue is anticipated to complete this project: <br /> Through FY <br />2006-07 <br />FY 2007-08 Through FY <br />2007-08 <br />Sales Tax and Dedicated <br />Property Tax <br />$2,215,295 <br />$0 <br />$2,215,295 <br />Bond Funds $0 $0 $0 <br />Alternative Financing $3,415,031 $0 $3,415,031 <br />Grant Funds $667,374 $0 $667,374 <br />Other $6,000 $0 $6,000 <br />From Other County Capital <br />Projects (PAYG) <br />$0 <br />$559,000 <br />$559,000 <br />Total Funding $6,303,700 $559,000 $6,862,700 <br />Section 4.The following amount is appropriated for this project: <br /> Through FY <br />2006-07 <br />FY 2007-08 Through FY <br />2007-08 <br />Land/Build3ng $0 $0 $0 <br />Design $0 $0 $0 <br />Construction $0 $0 $0 <br />Equipment & Vehicles $6,303,700 $559,000 $6,862,700 <br />Total Costs $6,303,700 $559,000 $6,862,700 <br />Section 5. <br />Section 6. <br />This ordinance supersedes all previous Equipment and Vehicle Capital Project <br />Ordinances. <br />This ordinance shall remain in effect from July 1, 1998 until June 30, 2008. <br />Adopted this 20t" day of May 2008. <br />
