Our core service disciplines include mechanical and <br /> electrical engineering. Herb Stanford began the firm in 1977 and partnered with Leonard White in <br /> 1991. Currently there are 3 partners with the firm. We are based in Raleigh, NC. <br /> Our reputation is built on providing the highest quality engineering service to our clients. We focus on <br /> work within a 4 hour radius of our office. This allows us to offer a more personal commitment to our <br /> customers;and therefore maintain lasting relationships. By concentrating on the development of a <br /> long-term relationship of loyalty and trust,and by emphasizing on-going communication,we have a <br /> track record of producing designs that work and are cost-effective. Our clients define the horizons on <br /> which we function. If we are successful in meeting our client's goals,then the project and our <br /> relationship is successful. <br /> At Stanford White,the quality of our service is a direct result of the experience of our staff combined <br /> with our management philosophy of continuous improvement. Our staff includes 12 registered <br /> professional engineers(PE) and 1 registered engineer intern(EI). Our staff also includes 13 <br /> LEED Accredited Professionals. Utilizing professional engineers to design and manage projects is <br /> paramount to providing successful projects for our clients. Professional engineers comprise 63%of <br /> our design staff. Likewise,it is important to have"hands-on"experience in order to effectively <br /> translate a project from the drawing board to the construction site. 50%of our design and <br /> construction observation staff has a construction contracting background.
