• The proposed amendments provide for public participation in the development review <br /> process by requiring a rezoning to a conditional zoning district or a special use permit for <br /> all but the least-intensive uses. <br /> • The proposed amendments promote public health, safety, and general welfare by <br /> furthering the goals and objectives of the 2030 Comprehensive Plan, including <br /> implementation of the County's adopted Agricultural Development and Farmland <br /> Protection Plan (2009). <br /> The Board of County Commissioners hereby adopts this Statement of Consistency and <br /> findings expressed herein. <br /> EaJ ML*x-- /I/�, 4; , to/5- <br /> Earl McKee, Chair Date <br />
