Urban Design Ventures (consultants) through consultation with County, Town staffs and <br />members of the community has developed the FY 2015 -2020 Consolidated Plan. The full plan <br />is available electronically at _http://orangecountync.gov/housing (Publications. asp. <br />A thirty (30) days comment period was required by HUD and was established from March 28 — <br />April 27, 2015; with public notice in The Herald Sun and The Chapel Hill Herald. The <br />Consolidated Plan document and the Annual Action Plan were made available to the public, at <br />the Towns and County Housing, Human Rights and Community Development offices as well as <br />on the County website, public libraries and through other community outreach. <br />The Consolidated Plan must be approved by all jurisdictions including the Towns of Chapel Hill, <br />Hillsborough and Carrboro prior to submission of the document to the Greensboro HUD Office <br />no later than May 15, 2015. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: An approved Consolidated Plan for Fiscal Years 2015 -2020 must be on <br />file with the Greensboro HUD Office in order for the Orange County HOME Consortium to <br />continue to receive HOME Partnership Program funding. <br />RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board: <br />1) Receive comments from the public as additional information; <br />2) Close the public hearing; and <br />3) Adopt the resolution approving the FY 2015 -2020 Consolidated Plan. <br />
