She said a lot of people do not understand mental <br /> health needs, and she asked if any of the mental health agencies have been approached to <br /> provide training and assistance in this area. <br /> Max Mason said this has not been done, but it can be looked into. He said there is <br /> quite a mix of residents in these facilities, many with mental health concerns. <br /> Commissioner McKee said the Board can provide him with contact information for these <br /> agencies. <br /> Commissioner Rich asked Max Mason if he can identify the largest concern of this <br /> group. <br /> Max Mason said from his perspective the biggest issue is insuring there is adequate <br /> funding of these facilities. He said inadequate funding is reflected in the services residents <br /> receive.
