VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> Southern Library Discussion <br /> Commissioner Price left at 11:35 p.m. <br /> Discussion ensued about proposed decision points in reference to the Southern Library <br /> discussions moving forward: <br /> • The Board agreed by consensus to direct the County Manager to participate with the <br /> Carrboro Town Manager, Arts Center Executive Director, and the Kidzu Children's <br /> Museum Executive Director on developing a timeline and exploring financing options to <br /> create a cultural arts area that would include the Southern Branch Library. <br /> • The Board agreed by consensus for the reference document "proposed path to new <br /> proposal" to be amended to read: Engaging in this process does not constitute a <br /> commitment from the Town or County to participate financially in any development <br /> project. <br /> • The Board agreed by consensus to centralize the information flow, with the main point <br /> of contact being the County Manager, for the public and media on Southern Branch <br /> Library matters. <br /> 15.
