The building or other facility shall bear the name assigned to it by the Board <br />from and after the date of the Board's approving action or such subsequent <br />date as the Board of Commissioners may prescribe. <br />7. This policy and procedure does not apply to the naming of public streets, <br />roads, alleys, and other similar thoroughfares. <br />8. Under unusual circumstances and for reasons satisfactory to the Board of <br />Commissioners, the Board may name a County owned building or facility <br />without following the procedures set forth herein. <br />9. Portions of a building, such as a meeting room or resource center, may bear <br />the name of an individual or group subject to the procedures outlined above. <br />10. This policy shall not be construed as a mechanism for selling the name rights <br />to county structures or facilities. <br />
