I have also severed the <br />last 3 years as a volunteer soccer coach with the youth soccer league. I have served on a <br />conference board where we had to plan and run a one day conference with a budget of over <br />$20K. I have also had to manage a number of different projects in my professional career, as <br />well as handle budgets over $1 Million. <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />I believe that the recreational opportunities in Orange County serve a large part in making this <br />county such a great place to live and work. I hope to help the county further develop and refine <br />the already outstanding offerings we have. I have seen how our offerings have grown and <br />matured over the last 10 years, but I believe there is still much more that can be done to improve <br />recreation opportunities in Orange County. <br />
