Consider approval of the attached resolution (Attachment 3), approving and authorizing the <br /> 26 plan; and <br /> 27 2. Authorize the Orange County Transportation Planning staff to submit the plan to the North <br /> 28 Carolina Department of Transportation and Federal Transit Administration. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Commissioner Price asked if this approval includes the double fare. <br /> 31 Bret Martin said the Board can make that decision with the adoption of the plan. <br /> 32 Commissioner Price said she would like to offer a friendly amendment to ask for a fare <br /> 33 study regarding the cost of this service. <br /> 34 Commissioner Pelissier said she would accept the amendment, and she would like to <br /> 35 specify the need to find out how many people are Medicaid eligible. <br /> 36 Commissioner Jacobs accepted the friendly amendment. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 39 <br /> 40 6.
