Davis, Jr. <br />How many times per month does this board /commission meet, including any special <br />meetings and sub - committee meetings? <br />The advisory board meets once a month excluding the month of July. There are <br />currently no sub - committees. <br />Brief Statement of Board /Commission's Assigned Charge and Responsibilities. <br />The Affordable Housing Advisory Board advises the Orange County Board of <br />Commissioners regarding affordable housing issues and increasing the <br />community's awareness of, understanding of, commitment to and involvement in <br />producing attractive, affordable housing. Additionally, the board monitors the <br />implementation of the Affordable Housing Bond Program. <br />What are your Board /Commission's most important accomplishments? <br />✓ Prepared a FY 2013 Performance Report for the 2014 Departmental <br />Calendar. <br />✓ Monitored the Affordable Housing Bond Program. <br />✓ Reviewed non - departmental funding applications for six (6) housing <br />related non - profit organizations and made recommendations for <br />
