101 <br />What are your Board /Commission's most important accomplishments? <br />By far the largest accomplishment of 2014 was the review, revision and <br />recommendation to the BOCC of the Parks & Recreation Master Plan 2030, <br />recommended by the Council in October and adopted by the Board on <br />November 18, 2014. The assessment and development of this plan — and <br />participation in open houses, public input sessions and other public <br />outreach associated with the new Plan dominated most of the Council's <br />meetings in 2014. <br />The Council also advised the staff on the Blackwood Farm Park Limited <br />Opening Plan, the Capital Investment Plan and Outside Agency Funding <br />Requests (recreation agencies) during the budget season of spring 2014. <br />The Council helped review and provide input on the Community Use of <br />School Facilities resolution, adopted by all of the jurisdictions in 2014. <br />The Council also participates in the Intergovernmental Parks Work Group <br />and other multi jurisdictional planning efforts. <br />List of Specific Tasks, Events, or Functions Performed or Sponsored Annually. <br />• Review of CIP and recommendations on Outside Agency Funding <br />Requests <br />• Review and recommendation on Potential Land Dedication/Payment- <br />in -Lieu proposals <br />• Input and recommendations on triennial Lands Legacy Action Plan <br />• Participation and /or planning for biennial joint advisory boards <br />meeting (Orange County to host in 2015) <br />• Annual reports from and feedback to Parks Superintendent and <br />Recreation Superintendent; and on -site meetings at one or more <br />County parks <br />Describe this board /commission's activities /accomplishments in carrying out <br />BOCC goal(s) /priorities, if applicable. <br />The PRC reviews site plans for major subdivision applications in the <br />county's jurisdiction. Recommendations are made on potential land <br />dedication for parks and open space. (Goal 5) <br />The PRC was the lead advisory board for the newly- adopted Parks and <br />Recreation Master Plan 2030. This effort was largely undertaken in house, <br />and the Council played a role in advising on surveys, outreach and work <br />products, participating in public input sessions and focus groups in its role <br />
