16 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />Supplemental Questions: <br />Jennifer Marsh <br />Board of Equalization and Review (REQUIRES DISCLOSURE STATEMENT) <br />Please list /explain your experience, either professionally and /or from other <br />boards /commissions that you have in the areas of real estate, tax appraisal or real estate <br />law. <br />In addition to my experience on the Board of Equalization, as an attorney, I have worked on <br />cases of land transfers, heirs property, and county tax valuations. Also, I have an understanding <br />of nonprofit law and property tax exemptions /reductions gained from my education and work <br />experiences. <br />In addition to the experience listed in the question above, please list the work /volunteer <br />experience /qualifications that would add to your expertise for this board. <br />I have experience working with individuals and community groups from a variety of backgrounds. <br />What do you see as the responsibilities of this board, and what do you hope to <br />accomplish if appointed? <br />The responsibilities of the board are to review the evidence presented and find an equitable <br />solution in line with the governing laws. Also the board should be consistent as much as <br />possible. Another potential outcome from serving on the board is to identify outstanding issues <br />faced by citizens and suggest solutions to the county on how to better serve the people of the <br />county.
