By training, I am an adept data analyst specializing in <br />health informatics and am proficient in analytics using SAS and even Excel. I have volunteered <br />in the past at the Dare County Department of Public Health, assisting with their Community <br />Health Assessment. <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />I am interested in the health of our community in Orange County and I am interested in giving <br />back to my community via some kind of civil service. The Board of Health feels like an <br />appropriate fit. <br />Conflict of Interest: <br />I work for an organization that is contracted by NC Medicaid to manage various aspects of the <br />Medicaid population in the state.
