My tenure <br />in a local health department and attending BOH meetings were enlightening experiences. I <br />want to give back to my community via my professional expertise and personal interests <br />especially as it pertains to health and well -being of Orange County s children and families. <br />Conflict of Interest: <br />Board of Social Services <br />Background, education and experience relevant to this board: <br />undergrad & graduate degrees in Public Health Education; <br />over 20 years combined employment in state /local government, specifically Health & Human <br />Services which includes a local health department; <br />Past 15 years worked with agencies (OCPYC & CDSA)that work collaboratively with the Health <br />Dept. to target Orange County children s needs; <br />experience in federal and state programmatic parameters and funding requirements; <br />experience in program evaluation and data analysis; <br />Data entry expertise /navigation with HIS data platform; <br />Familiarity with NCTracks reimbursement platform <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />The Health and Human Services realm has always been my professional foundation.
