I have been a registered pharmacist for 35 years <br />and have worked in a variety of settings, most recently at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of NC. I have <br />also worked at Kaiser Permanente (clinical pharmacy coordinator), John Umstead Hospital (now <br />Central Hospital), AccessCare, and Piedmont Health Services (formerly Orange- Chatham <br />Health Services, a local network of community health centers. I understand general clinical <br />pharmaceutical care including mental health, Medicare Part D, community health center care, <br />and insurance coverage. <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br />I believe I can be of assistance to the Board of Health with my varied background in pharmacy <br />care.
