White Cross Fire <br />Department Letter of <br />Request <br />INFORMATION CONTACT: <br />Paul Laughton, (919) 245 -2152 <br />This Item is a Carry - forward from <br />the February 17, 2015 meeting <br />cancelled due to weather. <br />PURPOSE: To approve budget ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2014 -15. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Cooperative Extension <br />1. Cooperative Extension has received an additional $11,470 from the North Carolina <br />Agricultural Foundation. These funds will be used at the Breeze Farm. This budget <br />amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds. (See Attachment 1, column <br />1) <br />Animal Services /Spay and Neuter Fund <br />2. Animal Services has received an additional $662 from the sale of Spay /Neuter T- shirts. <br />These funds will be used to purchase additional shirts for sale. This budget amendment <br />provides for the receipt of these additional funds within the separate Spay /Neuter fund, <br />outside of the General Fund. (See Attachment 1, column 2) <br />
