2 <br />Upon approval by the Board of County Commissioners, the Office of the State Fire Marshal can <br />legally approve transfer of those affected parcels to the Cane Creek Fire Insurance District, <br />allowing 25 addressable structures will be added to the Cane Creek Fire Insurance District as <br />shown on the revised map of the Cane Creek Fire Insurance District. The area is located on the <br />south side of N.C. 54 and includes the Lloydtown Road, Morrow Mill Road, and Saxapahaw — <br />Bethlehem Church Road area. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The approval of this item has no financial impact on the County. This is <br />an administrative action only and no changes in fire protection, service delivery or tax rates will <br />be reflected by approval of the Board of County Commissioners. Upon approval by the Board <br />and the N. C. Department of Insurance, property owners in the expanded area will be eligible for <br />lower fire insurance premiums. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the attached <br />Cane Creek Fire Insurance District Boundary map for insurance purposes only. <br />
