Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refund <br /> 30 The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release motor vehicle <br /> 31 property tax values for twelve (12) taxpayers with a total of sixteen (16) bills that will result in a <br /> 32 reduction of revenue. Approval of these release/refund requests will result in a net reduction of <br /> 33 $4,758.62 to Orange County, the towns, and school and fire districts. Financial impact year to <br /> 34 date for FY 2014-2015 is $25,425.86. <br /> 35 c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> 36 The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, approving the <br /> 37 release/refund requests in accordance with North Carolina General Statute 105-381 for thirteen <br /> 38 (13) taxpayers with a total of twenty-three (23) bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> 39 d. Applications for Property Tax Exemption/Exclusion <br /> 40 The Board approved the attached resolution for eleven (11) untimely applications for <br /> 41 exemption/exclusion from ad valorem taxation for eleven (11) bills for the 2014 tax year. <br /> 42 e. FY 2014-2015 Budget Amendment#5 <br /> 43 The Board approved budget ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2014-15 for the Health <br /> 44 Department, Department of Environment, Agriculture, and Parks and Recreation, Solid Waste <br /> 45 Enterprise Fund, Human Services Non-Departmental, and Department of Social Services. <br /> 46 f. Comprehensive Plan and Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Amendment <br /> 47 Outline and Schedule for Sign Regulation Amendments <br /> 48 The Board approved the process components and schedule for a government initiated Unified <br /> 49 Development Ordinance (UDO) text amendment for the February 2015 Quarterly Public Hearing <br /> 50 regarding sign regulations and direct staff to proceed accordingly. <br /> 51 g.
