2 . The Commissioners are opposed to the transport of 16-foot wide <br /> mobile/modular homes along unspecified detour routes due to <br /> restrictions for transport through construction zones along <br /> proposed transport routes; and <br /> 3 . The Commissioners strongly encourage the State to fully <br /> examine rail transport or other means for providing the <br /> economic advantages necessary for the N.C. mobile home <br /> industry to remain competitive with manufacturers in other <br /> states; and <br /> 4. The Clerk to the Board of Commissioners is directed to send a <br /> copy of this Resolution to the Governor, the Secretary of <br /> Transportation, the N.C. Board of Transportation, the Council <br /> of State, and to the area's local legislative delegation. <br /> This the 28th day of June, 1994. <br /> 4, �'t <br /> Moses Carey, J 'r <br />
