a <br /> 20 <br /> i <br /> 7.5 Effective Date <br /> Any Career Growth Recognition Award is effective on the <br /> pay period beginning date following the employee's WPPR <br /> Review Date. If an employee's WPPR Review Date falls <br /> on the pay period beginning date, the Career Growth <br /> Recognition Award is effective on that pay period <br /> beginning date. <br /> 7 .6 Process <br /> The department head reviews each performance review <br /> under WPPR and recommends to the County Manager the <br /> employees to receive the Career Growth Recognition <br /> Award. The WPPR Evaluation form and the completed <br /> work plan are submitted along with the Career Growth <br /> Recognition Award recommendation to the Personnel <br /> Department and become a part of the employee's <br /> personnel file. <br /> 8.0 PERFORMANCE AWARD <br /> Amended <br /> 7/4/94 8.1 General <br /> The County provides Performance Awards to eligible <br /> permanent employees in recognition of highly effective <br /> performance and outstanding achievement in accordance <br /> with the Work Planning and Performance Review Program. <br /> (See Article VII, "Employee Performance Evaluation <br /> Program.
