18 <br /> Attachment 5 <br /> June, 1994 <br /> Classification and Pay Plan Revisions <br /> To amend the Orange County Classification and Pay Plan as <br /> provided below: <br /> 1. Establish the class of: <br /> - Civil Rights Specialist at salary grade 69. <br /> The position is part of the FY 1994-95 budget and will <br /> support implementation of the Civil Rights Ordinance <br /> including the responsibility for investigating and <br /> resolving discrimination complaints. Staff plans to <br /> present a report to the Board in August on the position' s <br /> planned duties and responsibilities and projected start-up <br /> activities. <br /> 2. Delete the following classes: <br /> - Flight Paramedic, <br /> - Lead Flight Paramedic, <br /> - Air Medical Communications Specialist, and <br /> - Air Medical Shift Supervisor. <br /> The Carolina Air Care positions assigned to the above <br /> classes have been transferred to UNC Hospitals. There is <br /> no longer a need to maintain these classes as part of the <br /> Orange County Classification and Pay Plan. <br />
