4 <br />requisite to project implementation, may be reviewed by contacting UNC Energy Services or the <br />County Manager's Office. <br />FINANGIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with the discussion and potential <br />authorization for the County and UNC to continue working towards a formal contract proposal to <br />present for BOCC action. Revenues are currently forecast for the County should it enter into <br />contract with the University to implement a landfill gas recovery project. More specific revenue <br />projections will depend upon final project economics and the conclusion of contract <br />negotiations. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board <br />1. Provide any feedback and direction .as may be desired to the County and UNC teams <br />relative to preliminary Engineering, Commercial, or Legal terms; and <br />2. Formally authorize the County and UNC teams to move forward in the development of a <br />final contract to be brought back for BOCC consideration, targeting the meeting of <br />August 19, 2008. <br />
