RESOLUTION <br /> RESPONSE TO STIPULATIONS OF SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE <br /> SOUTHERN HUMAN SERVICES CENTER SITE <br /> WHEREAS, County Staff and the Project Architect have worked closely with Town Staff regarding <br /> the Southern Human Service Center Project;and <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution A,Approving an Application For Special Use Permit For The Orange <br /> County Southern Human Services Center, presents certain requirements for the <br /> County's project;and <br /> WHEREAS, The County desires further collaboration with the Town on Required kiWrovements, <br /> numbers four(4),five(5),and nine(9); <br /> THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED THAT the County Commissioners accept the conditions of approval of <br /> the Special Use Permit with the following requests: <br /> 1. RE Stipulation 4: We request further collaboration with Town staff regarding the <br /> proposed T-intersection, to ensure that the use of a future buildable site on the property is not <br /> precluded. <br /> 2. RE Stipulation 5: As the Commissioners authorize the architect to amend the site plan <br /> to prevent any physical barrier to a potential roadway connection to the west (University of North <br /> Carolina property),the Commissioners request further collaboration and discussion with the Town with <br /> regard to general plans for the roadway system in this area and specifically the types and volume of <br /> traffic anticipated from a west connection and the impacts on County facilities. <br /> 3. RE Stipulation 9: The Commissioners request clarification from the Town as to <br /> speck location and the number of spaces to be removed and request that any spaces removed be <br /> incorporated into the main body of parking,west of the proposed building. <br /> This is the 28th day of June,1994. <br /> Moses Carey,Jr.,Chair <br /> Board of Commissioners <br />
