The Board decided to enter into a Mutual <br /> Cooperation Agreement with the Friends of the Chapel <br /> Hill Senior Center. Through the agreement, the County <br /> would establish a Health Promotion Coordinator position <br /> and be reimbursed for salary and related costs <br /> by the Friends. <br /> The Department on Aging has given Personnel a position <br /> description for the proposed position to determine the <br /> appropriate classification under the current Orange <br /> County Classification and Pay Plan. <br /> Personnel compared the duties and responsibilities of <br /> the proposed Health Promotion Coordinator position to <br /> those of positions in other classes in the Orange <br /> County Classification and Pay Plan. The study <br /> indicates that the duties and responsibilities of the <br /> proposed position are comparable to those of the <br /> established class of Public Health Educator/Kellogg <br /> Project Director at salary grade 68. <br />
