Review L.U.P. locational criteria in the <br /> context of rural vs urban EDDs. <br /> Finally, at the April 4 BOCC meeting, the Commis- <br /> sioners agreed that the first task of the group would <br /> be to address the inclusion of public participation in <br /> proposal development if any is desired beyond that <br /> included in this proposal. The group would also <br /> confirm the charge and agree on a tentative time frame <br /> for conclusion of the groups work. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The recommended charge is: To develop a specific <br /> proposal for the I-40/Old NC 86 Economic Development <br /> District and the area east and west of Old NC 86 <br /> between I-40 and I-85 that will be responsive to the <br /> majority of interests listed above; and to present <br /> this proposal to the Orange County Board of Commis- <br /> sioners and the Town of Hillsborough no later than <br /> October 1, 1994 . <br />
