Deny the request of Paliouras Enterprises's <br /> Zoning Atlas Amendment for its property on <br /> the southeast section of the NC 86 <br /> interchange of I-85 to be rezoned from CC- <br /> 3 (MTC) Community Commercial (Major <br /> Transportation Corridor) and R-1(MTC) Rural <br /> Residential (Major Transportation Corridor) <br /> to GC-4 (MTC) General Commercial (Major <br /> Transportation Corridor) because there was no <br /> error in the original zoning for this <br /> quadrant and the Land Use Plan can be <br /> implemented best through the creation of an <br /> Economic Development District at the NC 86/ <br /> I-85 intersection area cooperatively with the <br /> Town of Hillsborough; and <br /> 2 . Pursue aggressively with the Town of <br /> Hillsborough a cooperative venture to <br /> designate the NC 86/I-85 interchange area as <br /> an Economic Development District. <br />
