The tract is bordered by NC 86 and <br /> I-85, except for a narrow 3.34-acre strip owned <br /> by the Dental Foundation of North Carolina. The <br /> proposed area to be rezoned contains 37 .97 acres <br /> and is owned by Paliouras Enterprises, Inc. The <br /> current zoning is CC-3 (MTC) Community Commercial <br /> (Major Transportation Corridor) and R-1(MTC) <br /> Rural Residential (Major Transportation <br /> Corridor) . Proposed zoning for the property is <br /> GC-4 (MTC ) General Commercial (Major <br /> Transportation Corridor) . <br /> Surrounding properties lie in the zoning <br /> jurisdictions of both the Town of Hillsborough <br /> and County of Orange. <br />
