2 . <br /> PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> OF LAND EXCHANGE <br /> Pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. §160A-271, the Orange County Board <br /> of Commissioners hereby gives notice of its intent to authorize, at <br /> its next regular meeting on April 19, 1994 , an exchange of land <br /> owned by Orange County for land owned by the heirs of John L. <br /> Efland, Sr. which is to be donated to Habitat for Humanity. <br /> One of the Tracts of land involved in the exchange, hereafter <br /> referred to as Tract A, currently owned by John L. Efland's heirs, <br /> is being donated to Habitat For Humanity. It is located in Cheeks <br /> Township, Orange County, on Richmond Road (SR 1312) . It is part of <br /> the lot described in the Orange County tax map as 3 . 31 .A. 20C, PIN <br /> # 9844-39-2803 . The other of the tracts of land involved in the <br /> exchange, hereafter referred to as Tract B, currently owned by <br /> Orange County, is located adjacent to the Efland lot, off of <br /> Richmond Road (SR 1312) . It is part of the lot described in the <br /> Orange County tax map as 3 . 31 .A. 37 , PIN # 9844-39-4709 . Tract A <br /> and Tract B are also designated as such on the plat of survey <br /> entitled "Property Surveyed for Orange County" by Callemyn Land <br /> Surveyors, dated 3/9/94 and on file in the Orange County Manager's <br /> office, to which plat reference is hereby made for more detailed <br /> information concerning the proposed land exchange. <br /> The County proposes to exchange Tract B valued at $1,082 , for <br /> Tract A valued at $1,202 . In the exchange the County would receive <br /> a triangle shaped portion of the Efland lot which would be joined <br /> with an adjacent 1 .5 acre County owned lot. This would provide <br /> road access to the existing County owned 1. 5 acre lot. In exchange <br /> the County would provide a rectangular portion of its 1 .5 acre lot <br />
