These funds will enable <br /> the health department to purchase Norplant and other Family Planning methods for <br /> an additional eighty-three low income Orange County residents, provide incentives <br /> to enhance participation in the Family Planning clinic and a small amount of <br /> funds to increase the personal mileage line item. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> The attached memos indicate the increase in state funds for the Family Planning, <br /> Maternal and Child Health Programs. The funds are allocated for the current <br /> fiscal year and must be expended by ,Tune 30, 1994. No county match is required. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the funds be accepted and the <br /> Chair be authorized to sign the budget pages and the <br /> contract amendment. <br />
