Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br />PUBLIC CH.~RGE <br />The Baard of Commissioners pledges to the citizens of Grange County its respect. The Boas°d asks its citizens to <br />conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both with the Board and with fellow citizens. At carry time <br />should any member of the Board or any citizen fail to observe this public charge, the Chair will ask the offending <br />person to leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail to be re.storec~ the <br />Chair will recess the meeting until such time that a genuine commitment to this parblic charge is observed All <br />electronic devices such as cell phones, pagers, and computers should please be turned off or set to silent/vibrate. <br />2. Proclamations/ Resolutianst Special Presentations <br />a. National Safe Kids Week Proclamation <br />The Board t~-•ill consider a proclamation recognizing the ~~~eek of April 26 -May 4, 2008 as SAFE KIDS <br />Week in Orange County and authorize the Chair to sign. <br />b. Evans and Bond Award for Outstanding Toxicity Reduction Program <br />The Board will consider recognizing the Solid Waste flanagement Department for its efforts in reducing <br />hazardous waste in Orange County and to eomrnend the department for receiving the 2007 Bill Evans and <br />Carol Bond Award for Outstanding Toxicity Reduction. <br />c. NCACCy Outstandvig Count~~ Program Awards Presentation <br />The Board will receive the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners (NCACC} Outstanding <br />County Program Awards for Orange County's Spanish Language Assessment Tool and the Inspect Plus field <br />computer initiative. <br />d. Presentation on Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Report <br />
