CAmend Article 6 by adding a new Article 6.29 - Development Standards for Economic Development (ED) <br /> Districts to read as follows: <br /> 6.29 Development Standards for Economic Development(ED)Districts <br /> 6.291 Purim <br /> (goal Six of the Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan is the promotion of economic <br /> development which emphasizes local employment needs while preserving the character of <br /> communities and protecting the natural environment. To that end, these provisions are <br /> established to create review procedures and appropriate design standards for application <br /> within portions of the county tageted for economic development activities; e.g., Economic <br /> Dmelgmwd Districts. <br /> 6292 <br /> Design Review Process <br /> before any new sit+e'development may be undertaken in an Economic Development District, <br /> a site plan must be approved and a zoning conphance permit issued in accordance with the <br /> G ) provisions of Article 14 Site Plan Approval Procedures) of this Ordinance. Prior to <br /> P� submission of an application for site plan appal, applicants will be required to meet with <br /> / representatives of the Planning and Inspections, and Economic Development Dtoa tments to <br /> identify policies,procedures, regulations, and fees applicable to development proposals. <br /> Plans for development proposals in an Economic Development District will be reviewed by the <br /> l� Planning and Inspections Department staff for compliance with the standards ds contained in <br /> Y the following section.Such review will also be carried out in accordance with the provisions <br /> Gp,NnK�SS/OsrGl�s of Article 14.3(Site Plan Review)of this ordinance. <br /> In addition to the submittal requirements contained in Article 1422, a complete application <br /> Apr shall also include. <br /> lylQ,Jor <br /> / 1. Building elevation drawings for each proposed structu v;and <br /> �QUP!0�7w�, <br /> R A minimum of two(2)drawings of sections through the site illustrating casting and <br /> proposed grades, as well as the relationship of difibrnt site featuses. <br /> Failure to meet the criteria for site plan approval listed in Article 14.3, to address agency <br /> comments solicited during the plan review process,and/or to adhere to the design standards <br /> applicable within Fkanarnic Dlevelo msent Dishicts will result in denial of a development <br /> application.
