The purpose of the Township Advisory Councils shall be to advise the <br /> Planning Board concerning local opinions about planning matters as specified <br /> in the Orange County Zoning Ordinance and Orange County Planning Board <br /> Rules of Procedure. <br /> B. The Township Advisory Councils may be involved in the following planning <br /> activities: development of the Land Use Plan, area plans and major <br /> amendments thereto and, as requested on special issues. <br /> ARTICLE II - OFFICERS AND DUTIES <br /> A. Officers <br /> The elected officers shall be a Chair and Vice Chair and such other officers as <br /> desired by the Township Advisory Council (TAC). <br /> 1) The Chair shall preside at all meetings of the Township Advisory <br /> Council and have the duties normally conferred by parliamentary usage <br /> on such officers. <br /> 2) The Vice Chair shall serve as Acting Chair in the absence of the Chair <br /> and, at such times, shall have the same powers and duties as the Chair. <br /> B. Election Procedures and Terms of Office <br /> The procedures for election of the Chair and Vice Chair shall be as follows: <br /> 1 <br />
