Ask the County Commissioners to proclaim March as Women' s <br /> History Month at the March 1st Board of Commissioners <br /> meeting. <br /> 2. Co-sponsor educational displays throughout March about Orange <br /> County women who have been first in a significant area of <br /> achievement at the Orange County and Chapel Hill public <br /> libraries and the Orange County Government Services Center, <br /> with Orange County Extension Homemakers Association, Orange <br /> County Human Relations Commission, Orange County Rape Crisis <br /> Center, Orange County Women' s Center, Orange/Durham Coalition <br /> for Battered Women. <br /> 3 . Co-sponsor a reception honoring Orange County women who have <br /> been first in a significant area of achievement on Sunday, <br /> March 20, from 3: 30 - 5: 00 p.m. at the County Government <br /> Services Center, with Orange County Extension Homemakers <br /> Association, Orange County Human Relations Commission, Orange <br /> County Rape Crisis Center, Orange County Women' s Center, <br /> Orange/Durham Coalition for Battered Women. <br /> 4. Develop a Speakers' Bureau featuring women "firsts" who were <br /> identified and honored in 1993.
