FINANCIAL IMPACT: The annual consolidated agreement is anticipated to provide $426,340 <br />Federal and State dollars to the county to provide specific services for fiscal year 2008-2009. <br />This includes an additional $15,000 in aid to county funds for essential services and slight <br />increases in refugee health funds ($1,830). As in past years, the amount allocated by the <br />Federal government to the State for public health preparedness and health promotion is <br />unknown at this time: The total amount funded by the consolidated agreement represents less <br />than 8% of the overall Health Department budget. <br />2 <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the agreement <br />and authorize the Chair to sign the agreements and assurances pending final review by staff <br />and the County Attorney. <br />
