The stimulus for this project was to <br /> establish a parallel collector road to alleviate congestion on NC 68 in northern <br /> High Point. <br /> PROJECT EXPERIENCE —TRAFFIC ENGINEERING: <br /> 1-485 Charlotte Outer Loop Design-Build, Mecklenburg County, NC (2010- <br /> 2014) —This 5.1-mile section will extend the northern urban loop around <br /> Charlotte and part of Huntersville. The project includes an 8-lane freeway on new <br /> alignment from west of NC 115 to west of 1-85. As the lead traffic engineer, Mr. <br /> Letchworth was responsible for the traffic capacity analysis, signal design, <br /> merge/diverge analysis, cable routing, and the interchange modification report for <br /> the DDI. <br /> i <br /> U-2800 Macy Grove Road Design-Build, Kernersville, NC (2012)—This <br /> project involves the widening of Macy Grove Road from Industrial Park Drive to <br /> Old Greensboro Road including the construction of an interchange at 1-40 and <br /> bridge crossings over the Norfolk Southern Railroad and East Mountain Street. <br /> As lead traffic engineer in support of the shortlist proposal development efforts, <br /> Will led the development of Alternative Technical Concepts and the development <br /> of future lane configurations and traffic control. <br /> R-49021-485 Widening Design-Build, Charlotte, NC (2012)—This project <br /> involves the widening of 1-485 from 1-77 to Rea Road. As lead traffic engineer in <br /> support of the shortlist proposal development efforts, Mr. Letchworth led the <br /> development of Alternative Technical Concepts and the development of future <br /> lane configurations and traffic control. <br /> NCDOT Traffic Data Collection On-Call, NC (2010-2011)— Project manager for <br /> the collection of mechanical tube counts in the vicinity of various rail crossings <br /> throughout North Carolina. <br /> City of Folly Beach Traffic Study, Folly Beach, SC (2009)— Project designer <br /> participating in a traffic study of area roadways to develop recommendations <br /> Letchworth,William E.
