NCGW is sponsored by the National Association <br />of Counties (NACo) and held each year during the month of April. In 2008, NCGW takes place <br />April 6-12. <br />The attached proclamation has been prepared for BOCC consideration. <br />The following special events and activities that highlight County government and County <br />partnerships in action are planned to occur throughout the week. <br />Tuesday, April 8 <br />Scenic By-way Sign Dedication (Orange County and NCDOT) -11:30 a.m. <br />Wednesday, April 9 <br />The State of the Local Economy Luncheon _ Carolina Club -12:00 p.m. <br />Student Government Leaders and their advisors from both School <br />Districts have been invited to attend as guests of the County <br />Newspaper Advertisement Saluting County Employees -The Chapel Hill Herald <br />Thursday, April 10 <br />Public Reception and Guided Tour -The Gateway Center - 2:00-5:00 p.m. <br />
