Thom Road is a paved State- <br /> maintained road. The entrance to the subdivision is in <br /> Alamance County. Section Four contains six (6) lots, <br /> however, only five (5) lots are located in Orange County. <br /> Lot sizes in Orange County range from 1.30 to 1. 66 acres <br /> and include lots 22 through 26 in Section Four. <br /> The property is zoned Agricultural Residential (AR) and <br /> Cane Creek Protected Watershed (CANE-PW) . It is also <br /> designated Agricultural Residential and Cane Creek <br /> Protected Watershed in the Comprehensive Plan. A public <br /> road (Scarlet Oak Lane) will extend from Alamance County <br /> into Orange County to serve the five lots. <br /> The Preliminary Plan for Section One of the Village of the <br /> Oaks was approved by the County Commissioners on August 4, <br /> 1993 . Section Two was approved in Alamance County. <br /> The Planning Board reviewed and approved the Concept Plan <br /> for Section Three and Four The Village of the Oaks at its <br /> August 16, 1993 meeting. <br /> The Planning Board considered the Preliminary Plan for <br /> Section Three and Four The Village of the Oaks on January <br /> 24, 1994 and unanimously recommended approval subject to <br /> the conditions contained in the Resolution of Approval. <br />
