Under the terms of the contract, Orange <br /> County Emergency Management received $6 ,430 for administrative support <br /> in coordinating fire training provided by Durham Tech. This arrangement <br /> was unanimously endorsed by the Orange County Chiefs ' Council . <br /> Operation under the past two years of this contract has proven very <br /> beneficial to the fire services in Orange County in improving access to <br /> needed training for volunteer firefighters. The contract for $ 7,705 is <br /> to be renewed. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board approve the <br /> contract renewal and authorize the Chair to sign. <br />
