C. 27510
Dear Carol:
As the Lead Planning Agency for the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro
Metropolitan Planning Organization, the City of Durham has
developed an agreement for the passthrough of federal
transportation planning funds under the Section 104 (f) program.
The amount of funds to be passed through to the County will be
consistent with the allocation approved by the Transportation
Advisory Committee in the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) .
While no funds are currently allocated to Orange County, we expect
this to change with an amendment to the UPWP to proceed with data
collection tasks for the development of a regional transportation
model.
The Section 104 (f) .agreement is designed to allow for a continuing
passthrough of funds for the next several years. The agreement
also reflects an Accounting and Disbursement Agreement to which the
City of Durham must adhere. This agreement is referenced in the
passthrough agreement with the County, therefore I have enclosed a
copy for your information and the County's records.
Two copies of the passthrough agreement are enclosed. Upon
execution of the agreements by the County Manager, please return
both copies to me for final execution by the City of Durham. Upon
execution by the City, I will return one original copy to you.
Should you have any questions or comments, please let me know as
soon as possible. Thank your for your assistance in this matter.
Sincerely,
H.
