2a <br /> ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> To: Ge kc Planner III, Comprehensive <br /> From: C ter, Transportation Planner <br /> Subject: Attached MPO Pass-Through Agreement <br /> Date: October 12, 1993 <br /> Attached you will find two copies of an MPO Pass-Through Agreement <br /> to be utilized for Section 104f Transportation Planning funding. <br /> Essentially, this agreement allows Orange County to utilize a <br /> portion of thee DCHC MPO Federal Transportation Planning Funds, as <br /> long as the County agrees to set up a 20% local match and meet <br /> standard audit requirements. <br /> This agreement is a prelude to discussions of the Unified Planning <br /> Work Program (UPWP) update to take place in January, 1994. It also <br /> is necessary for the implementation of the Regional Data Collection <br /> tasks the County agreed to do in last year's discussions of the <br /> Regional Transportation Study. <br /> This agreement must be signed by the County Manager. I will <br /> probably have to go before the County Commissioners for approval <br /> since it will have an impact on the development of next year's <br /> budget (A line item will have to be designated especially for the <br /> local matching funds) . <br /> I have reviewed the contract and find it to be appropriate. Please <br /> take time to review the document, and let me know if you need me to <br /> do anything to assist in its adoption. <br />
