Because of their location in Transition Areas (or urban service <br /> districts), Economic Development Districts are clearly aligned <br /> with the Transit Service Level (TSL) 11 category. Shown on the <br /> accompanying tables are the development standards <br /> TSL ii Corridors recommended by the Planning Directors Exchange for TSL 11 <br /> Residential Areas and Grrrrkrs.These standards identify residential <br /> Urban,small lot single-family,town- densities,non-residential uses,and roadway,parking,and site <br /> houses,and patio homes design standards which are supportive of transit systems. <br /> L 5 to 15 DU/AC with 9 DU/AC average) <br /> Non-Resideatiall Because they are located adjacent to or bisected by <br /> Medium-size shopping centers,and interstate and arterial highways,and rasa corridors,the <br /> medium-intensity offices and industry Economic Development Districts are aligned with the TSL 11 <br /> Corridor standards.As noted on the preceding page,TSL 11 <br /> RoadwayNaricing Standards Corridors are located along majorthoroughfares and include <br /> - Provide priority signalization on the area within a five to 15 minute walking distance to the <br /> transit-only lanes,high occupancy <br /> vehicle (HOV)lanes,and turn-outs thoroughfare.Awaiking travel time of five minutes is roughly <br /> at bus stops equivalent to a distance of 1,500 feet.
