The governing boards <br /> agreed to establish a work group comprised of two members of each governing board to seek solutions to <br /> the University Station issue. <br /> On January 4, 1994, the Work Group held its first meeting and considered a resolution drafted by Town <br /> Attorney Michael Brough.The resolution proposed the establishment of a Small Area Planning Group with <br /> a specific charge for dealing with the University Station issue.Following discussion of the resolution, the <br /> Work Group recommended inclusion of a membership list as well as a listing of general and specific <br /> interests which the Group should consider. <br /> Staff representatives from the two jurisdictions met on January 6 and revised the resolution to include the <br /> Work Group's recommendations. It is being forwarded to you in advance of you next regular meeting for <br /> review. The schedule for consideration of the resolution by the two governing boards is as follows: <br /> January 10, 1994 - Hillsborough Town Board consideration; and <br /> January 18, 1994 - Board of County Commissioners consideration. <br /> If approved by both governing boards on the above dates, the Small Area Planning Group will meet for <br /> the first time on January 27 to begin work on its charge. <br />
