PYROTECHNICS PERMIT <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE NORTH CAROLINA <br /> Pursuant to G.S.14-413,Commissioners in North Carolina Counties are empowered to authorize and <br /> issue permits for the use of pyrotechnics in connection with "...shows of all descriptions...but only <br /> after satisfactory evidence is produced to the effect that said pyrotechnics will be used for the <br /> aforementioned purposes and none other". <br /> On date of approval),(agency to whom approval was granted),(town),NC,was approved for a pyrotechnic permit to be used <br /> In association with (event),(date of event),pocallon of event). <br /> The approval is granted based on the following assurances from the requestor: <br /> +Public Safety personnel will be on site during the event to ensure public safety and to <br /> provide adequate traffic control; <br /> +Proof of Liability Insurance which includes the County as a named insured, has been <br /> submitted to the Orange County Director of Purchasing and Central Services. Limits of <br /> liability are no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence. <br /> *Show setup will be approved by the Town of Chapel Hill Fire Chief or his designee,prior to <br /> the beghming of show.
