As a Certified Local Government, Orange <br /> County is required to participate in the process when <br /> a site within its jurisdiction is nominated to the <br /> National Register. <br /> Participation includes review of the nomination by the <br /> Historic Preservation Commission and the Board of <br /> County Commisioners. The County is allowed 60 days to <br /> provide opportunity for public comment and to return <br /> comments to the State Historic Preservation Office. <br /> A public hearing was held on December 8 before the <br /> Historic Preservation Commission. Two (2) citizens <br /> spoke in favor of the nomination (See draft minutes <br /> attached) . The Historic Preservation Commission voted <br /> to approve the nomination and forward it to the Board <br /> of Commissioners for its consideration. The deadline <br /> for submitting comments to the State is January 12, <br /> 1994. <br /> The property is located in Eno Township on the north <br />
