Mr. Sim Efland spoke against the rezoning <br /> indicating a boundary line dispute along the western <br /> boundary of the property and septic problems with the <br /> existing building on the lot that is zoned I-1. He also <br /> indicated a need for sewer in this area. Mr. Troy Woodard <br /> with First South Bank has submitted the attached letter <br /> regarding these concerns. The proposal was referred to <br /> the Planning Board for a recommendation to be presented to <br /> the County Commissioners no sooner than January 4, 1994. <br /> On December 20, 1993 the Planning Board considered the <br /> proposed rezoning and made positive findings on the <br /> ordinance requirements from Articles 4 and 20 (see <br /> attachment) . In a 9 to 1 vote, the Planning Board <br /> recommended approval of the rezoning. The one concern was <br /> with the size of the proposed zoning lot. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: If the Board of Commissioners approves the findings as <br /> recommended by the Planning Board, the Administration <br /> recommends approval of the request for a Zoning Atlas <br /> amendment from Residential-1 to Industrial-1. <br />
